Sorry I was browsing random youtube videos when I found a top 10 pokemon video and it just brought me back to my childhood nostalgia, because no matter what anyone says, pokemon was and still is one of the most addictive and well made game series and animes ever in the early days with Gold and Silver being nothing short of genius. Anyway chaps this thread is for people to post their top 10 favourite pokemon ever. No rules on generation ever. I myself will not be posting any Gen. 3 or 4 garbage but don't let it stop you Now I know there are pokemon nutters out there so do not be shy

There are no best pokemon in-game since different people raise them differently. But based on information, movie/anime appearances, and personal intuition I can make a pretty accurate list. I'm not even going to touch the generation IV and beyond like Arceus the god of pokemon or whatever. Pokemon was cool in the first couple generations, but now it's getting very overdone in my opinion.

1. Mewtwo - One of the, if not, the strongest pokemon and a force to be reckoned with. No pokemon could opppose it and it single-handedly overthrew Giovanni and totaled his base.

2. Deoxys (Speed Form)

3. Ho-oH

4. Lugia

5. Charizard - A really useful pokemon. In the anime it evolved very quickly and gained so much power and speed.

6. Suicune

7. Ash's Pikachu - They don't give it as much credit. In the anime it is shown to have exceptional potential from the start. It is also seen being on par with battling legendary pokemon - much beyond it's species. To think how much powerful it will be if he evolved it.

8. Darkrai - Not a powerhouse, but the skills it it is shown to have in the anime are very frightening. It also has superb battle intelligence - although not on par with the exceptional intelligence of mewtwo.

9. Lucario

10. Dragonite - I honesltly think it's overated. It's attack and speed are only subpar and it shares equally in defense. It's also slaughtered by any simple ice attack.
